Julia Stiles began her career at the La Mama Theater and the Kitchen Theater in New York, appearing in the plays "Matthew: School of Life, " and "The Sandalwood Box." She had many small parts in films, such as "The Devil's Own, " before gaining nationwide attention in the NBC miniseries "The '60's."
