Reviews
Mine: Not very good at all. Mark Harmon is no where near a good enough actor to pull of this dificult role. Jodie is good as always, but the overall effect is very flat.
Leonard Maltin/Plot synopsis: Has-been baseball player is summoned home to take care of the ashes of an old friend, who killed herself. Story flashes back to his relationship with her at several ages. Earnest but pat, semi-autobiographical script (by the directors) is helped immeasurably by Foster's wise, outstanding performance as the late friend, a troubled free spirit.
