Not much of a movie. Diane is great as always, but just kind of flat.

Deadpan comedy about a quietly put-upon suburban housewife whose life takes unexpected turns when her loutish husband insists on buying her a . 38 pistol. Some amusing moments and wry performances, but the film seems a bit undernourished. Feature debut for writer-director Cochran.
