	| Mine: | Great stuff. I know that a lot has been made about the portrayal of men in this movie. I see at least two very positive male characters: Hal and Jimmy. Yes there are some very bad men as well, but such is life. Geena Davis has never been as good. A GREAT soundtrack. |

	| Leonard Maltin/Plot synopsis: | Female friends leave responsibilities (as well as husband and boyfriend) behind to take a short trip, but an unexpected incident turns them into fugitives from the law. Dynamic star duo--and Callie Khouri's Oscar-winning feminist script--give this a lot of juice, though it still covers all-too-familiar road-movie territory. Panavision. |
