Reviews
Mine: A very well done adaptation of the best book ever written (IMHO). The effects are top notch. I have no idea how they did the hobbits and make them look so real. This stays pretty close to the book. The changes to Arwens character are the most noticable, but are just fine. For those who have not read the book, I think this will be a great film. Ian McKellen is a stand out in the cast as Gandalf. A fast 3 hour movie.
Leonard Maltin/Plot synopsis: A meek hobbit of The Shire and eight companions set out on a journey to Mount Doom to destroy the One Ring and the dark lord Sauron.

I think this is the best movie ever made. Along with a great story line and great actors they are hot! Out of 5 stars I give this 10 stars. I can't wait for the next one to come out. I don't know if it can be any better than this fantastic movie but I will wait and see!

Peter Jackson and the cast brought J.R.R Tolkien's book to life, if Tolkien were here to see it, he would probably be proud to see his book made into a movie. I agree that the movie and the book are about the same, not many changes. The first time I saw the movie I was obsessed about it and still am. This movie has action, comedy, and drama all in it. It shows you a new life that is brought into New Zealand and it will always last on flim! This movie rocks!
