Reviews
Mine: Not as faithful to the book as the first movie was. Still very impressive attempt. I did not like the changes to Faramier's character. The changes to the En'ts story were also disappointing and not necessary. The battle sequences are quite thrilling. Not my vision of the story, but a valid and interesting interpretation. A ton of fun to watch. Pacing could use some help at times.
Leonard Maltin/Plot synopsis: While Frodo and Sam edge closer to Mordor with the help of the shifty Gollum, the divided fellowship makes a stand against Sauron's new ally, Saruman, and his hordes of Isengard.
