Reviews
Mine: Enjoyable for the perfomaces, but uneven. Some really good scenes but ultimately a let down.
Leonard Maltin/Plot synopsis: Lumpy black comedy about a gregarious Italian-American pizzeria owner whose constant womanizing remains a secret to his wife--until one day when she learns the truth, and then attempts to murder him, with spectacular lack of success. Kline is fun, Plowright is hilarious as his mordant, Slavic mother-in-law, but unfortunately, the film goes flat. Director Kasdan plays a lawyer in the closing scenes; Kline's real-life wife, Phoebe Cates, has an unbilled part as one of his one-night stands. This seemingly fanciful story is based on a real-life couple!

The movie is a masterpiesce and a classica from the great director Lawrence Kasdan. With a cast to die for. A wife (Tracey Ulman) tries with het mother (Joan Plowright), a pizza delivery boy (the late River Phoenix), and two stoned hired hitman (a hilaries William Hurt and Keanu Reeves) to kill her adulterous husband (Kevin Kline), with bizarre conciences. The cast is perfect, especialy William Hurt and Keani Reeves (the now matrix action hero) as the two hilaries hitman who steals the show, also Joan Plowright as the mother who knows is funny, River Phoenix is a great actor (but he is unfortunaly dead, because of drugs) and plays very good, Tracy Ulman plays realistic and good and the always good Kevin Kline (otto) is fantastic. The movie is blend of black humor, romantic and a little bit of drama, that i mean that the movie is also very touching and that means that the movie is more than "just" a comedy, especialy the beatiful ending. Yes this one of my favorite movies, and i don't understand why you gave this a 4, alright you don't have to give this a five star rating, butt this is a very funny movie, i think you have no taste of good film or humor. Thank you, and ofcorse the movie.
