A kind of thin idea has been mined out. A couple of good gags, but pretty lame.
Leonard Maltin/Plot synopsis:
Frank Drebin is back, this time to save America from a plot hatched by oil, coal, and nuclear power brokers to keep the country from adopting a new energy policy. Lots of gags, some of them funny, but film lacks the freshness of its predecessor and empties out its bag of tricks sooner than it should.
