OK, so I'm not proud of it, but I saw this in the theatre and liked it. Yes it is really stupid, much more so than the first one.

| Leonard Maltin/Plot synopsis: |
Witless sequel to a movie that didn't exactly cry out for a followup. Insurance execs McCarthy and Silverman are suspected of embezzlement, and can only save their skins with the help of their ``dead body'' buddy Bernie (Kiser). Virgin Islands scenery is nice, but after this debacle, let's hope Bernie is allowed to rest in peace.

I REALLY LIKED WEEKEND AT BERNIE'S 2. YEA, IT WAS A GOOFY SEQUEL, BUT YOU ARE ONLY WATCHING IT FOR ENTERTAINMENT
ANDREW MCCARTHY WAS ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS, AS WAS JONATHAN SILVERMAN. THE SCENERY IS WONDERFUL, AND IT MAKES YOU FEEL
LIKE YOU ARE IN THE VIRGIN ISLANDS.
